From start to finish, this has been a pleasant experience--which isn't always the case with large home improvements. You were always professional and accommodating. I especially appreciate the fact that you had a list of satisfied homeowners in my neighborhood and gave me phone numbers to call. You and your company were straightforward and fair in all your dealings.
It was exciting to leave my home in the morning and return from work to see that two layers of the old roof had been removed and workers were just finishing up on the new roof. The workers were hard working and also very respectful of my property. Before they left for the day, all debris was removed and everything swept cleanóas you had promised. I didn't even know they had been there.

Dear Doyle Land and Northland Home Exteriors,
Today, your work crew successfully completed the last of three major projects that I had not even thought about doing just a few weeks ago. As you know, the activity began when I discovered a leak in a steel gutter and evolved to a decision to shingle the roof, replace the gutters, add a device to help keep the gutters clean, and replace the siding to provide a low maintenance exterior as well as upgrade the appearance.
As a result of the above, I began to look at a variety of products as well as organizations that could supply and install the products [with] quality workmanship, and be responsible for the total project. In addition, the organization to be selected had to have a track record of satisfactory experience and performance.
My experience in looking for an organization to meet my requirements was interesting, but somewhat frustrating because there was a general lack of responsiveness that caused time delays. For example, the first organization's representative that was contacted about the gutters wrote a proposal for the gutters and told me there was no need to replace the shingles. When I subsequently telephoned to ask for references where the special gutter protection product was installed, he said he would provide them. However, I left several messages, but there was no response. Another organization that had been in business for a long time and supposedly capable of all three activities had a representative that similarly failed to provide requested information, better quality siding, and where the product could be seen.
All of the above brings me back to September 22, 2004 when I called Northland Home Exteriors because I had seen your sign at a home in my neighborhood that was installing siding. You made an excellent presentation the next morning of the products that you recommended using, discussed your and your company's involvement in the home improvement business, and ended by providing a proposal after reviewing all requirement of the job. As you no doubt recall, I was concerned about your company's relatively short-term existence.
However, I found you to be a good listener to any concerns or questions of mine, you provided a reference home in the area that your siding crew had recently completed, you provided names that could be contacted for additional insight or opinion to help address my concerns, you were responsive as well as flexible in addressing issues that I had, and you conveyed to me a sense of commitment to customer satisfaction.
Therefore, I'm pleased that we chose you and your associates to complete our project. Your work crews consistently demonstrated a commitment to quality workmanship. They also were very hard working and conscientious with days starting at 7:30AM and not ending until 6:30PM. Both you and your partner were regularly monitoring progress and coordination that was required for the next phase of activity. The end result is we are very satisfied with the quality of work that has been done as well as the excellent appearance and would recommend Northland Home Exteriors to anyone.
